When somebody says that “a man likes to feel like a man,” all I hear is “A man likes to feel superior to you and it’s your job to make him believe it.”
Someone said this to me once, that a man needs to feel like a man, I replied “well I’m not stopping him” and had to watch this fragile creature try to explain to me that my strong personality could demean men.
Like, if I have to pretend you are a strong man and cater to that then clearly you’re not that strong dude.

I’m thinking about how we say “spill the tea” or just “tea” and how ppl used to say “spill the beans” like what if we just said “beans” when gossiping

Okay but “spill the beans” was meant for keeping secrets, like something only one person knows (ex: what the school play is going to be). Kinda same as “the cat’s out of the bag” when a secret is let out
“spill the tea,” however, is more about gossip. Tea gets spread everywhere. Everyone knows the tea, whether they mean to or not.
Very few people know about the beans. Everyone knows about the leaves.
